DA CUSTOMERS:new White Gate Card
Notice from the State of Connecticut: September is the month that tax assessors in Connecticut towns with airports send out State of Connecticut Registration Renewal forms. If your aircraft is not registered with the State of Connecticut, you will probably not receive a registration renewal. Contact (CALL) the tax assessor in the town where your aircraft is based and ask for the registration form. The penalty for not registering your aircraft in Connecticut gets pretty stiff.
It is a requirement that the forms be filled out accurately and completely as well as provide a copy of your current FAA aircraft registration. The State of Connecticut will not accept any registration renewal forms without the correct information and a copy of your current FAA registration.
All Connecticut based aircraft are required to have a State Of Connecticut Aircraft Registration. If the aircraft is used for FAR Part 135 or FAA Part 121 operations, or is government owned, there is no fee associated with the State Registration.
Note that the FAA is in the process of providing new registrations with renewal dates. The state needs a copy of your current registration (let's hope the State recognizes that the FAA is fazing in aircraft registration renewals).
